The yellow skin of this work draws on the saturated world of cartoons such as The Simpsons, where exaggeration and parody become forms of truth. Across its surface, black crosses signal two registers at once: grave markers evoking mortality, and fiducial markers used in motion capture, where bodies are reduced to data points for computer vision.
The legs morph into high-heeled feet, fetishised and distorted, caught between play and violence. The soft, inflated form is impaled on a rigid aluminium rod, its cartoonish brightness undercut by a sense of brutality. Ravished reflects on how bodies are consumed, tracked, and fetishised in contemporary culture—caught between spectacle, digital capture, and vulnerability.
